Wild Wheat Studios is an Austin-based creative studio led by husband-and-wife team Erin and Travis Wheat. We design across branding, animation and visual storytelling, event décor and stationery, and custom keepsakes, bringing ideas from concept to finished piece with detail-obsessed craft and a calm, organized process.
We blend strategy with artistry so your work looks beautiful and functions beautifully. We started Wild Wheat Studios because we kept seeing the same problem: brilliant people with genuinely great ideas, let down by creative work that didn't do them justice. Bland logos. Generic websites. Event decor that felt like it came from a template. We knew we could do better…so we built a studio that does.
Erin brings the strategy, the systems, and an eye for design that makes everything feel intentional and elevated. Travis brings his graphic design and 3D animation expertise honed at DreamWorks-level production pipelines, plus the kind of technical artistry that makes jaws drop. Together, we cover more creative ground than most studios three times our size…and we actually like working together. (Ask us about the snowstorm.)

The Little Things That Make Us Wild Wheat
We have six pets. Yes, six. Two dogs, four cats, and no, we are not entirely sure how that happened either.
We survived the 2021 Austin snowpocalypse together after knowing each other for exactly two weeks. Nothing bonds two people quite like a statewide power crisis with a near-stranger. The rest, as they say, is history. And yes, we absolutely have dreams of turning this story into an animated series.
We're proudly Austin-based. Drawn in by the weird, the creative, and the breakfast tacos. We design for clients everywhere but have a soft spot for fellow Texans.
